West End Terriers FC welcome you to our 23rd Annual Tournament 2026
NEW CHAMPIONS LEAGUE & EUROPA LEAGUE FORMAT!
It is our wish that everyone in attendance enjoys themselves this weekend, and that each one of you remains safe throughout your stay with us here in Hemsworth. Please have fun, enjoy yourself and be respectful.
PLEASE NOTE: Our site is "NO DOGS" & “NO SMOKING”
Venue: Outwood Academy Hemsworth, Wakefield Road, Hemsworth, Pontefract WF9 4AB.
Age Groups: This is a pre-season tournament. All entries need to be as of 2026/27 season age groups. E.g. U7s this season 25/26 should enter as U8s.
Players: Please ensure you have access to your matchday squad lists available upon request should anyone query player eligibility.
Registration: All managers must report to the registration tent to inform us of their arrival.
Cost to Enter: U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U14s - £35 per team. U12 & U13s - £45 per team
Subs: All age groups are allowed up to 3 subs. (This is the maximum we allow for winners/runner-up medals)
Cups/Medals: Winning teams and runners-up will receive a team trophy for both Champions League & Europa League and individual player medals.
We DO NOT accept applications from School Boys teams and academies.
AVAILABLE ON-SITE:
*Parking £4 - Walk-ins £2 (per person) - Cash or Card accepted on the gate.
Hot Food & Drinks, Pop & Sweets Stall open all weekend - Cash or Card payments accepted.

* We encourage car sharing where possible, not only does it save you money but helps control the amount of traffic attending the event. We do have staggered ko times across age groups on the same day to help ease any congestion and in previous years this has worked well. The venue is on a main road and no parking is allowed on that road.
TOURNAMENT RULES
U7 Teams will compete at 3v3. Captain’s coin toss determines direction teams kick for duration of game. Normal Football Rules
U8 & U9 Teams will compete at 5v5. Captain’s coin toss determines direction teams kick for duration of game. Normal Football Rules
U10 & U11 Teams will compete at 7v7. Captain’s coin toss determines direction teams kick for duration of game. Normal Football Rules
U12 & U13 Teams will compete at 9v9. Captain’s coin toss determines direction teams kick for duration of game. Normal Football Rules
U14 Teams will compete at 6v6. Captain’s coin toss determines direction teams kick for duration of game. No Off side’s | All free kicks are Direct | Back Passes ARE NOT allowed | Keepers MUST THROW the ball out of their hands for a goal kick.

If all the above are the same then the winners will be decided by a penalty shoot-out with each team taking 5 penalties, if score still level, then sudden death penalties will follow.
Players can only play for one team in the duration of the tournament. Teams found to be playing players in more than one team will be EXPELLED from the tournament.
Any player that receives a YELLOW card will be SUSPENDED for the next game.
Any player that receives a RED card will take NO FURTHER PART IN THE TOURNAMENT.
All discipline cases / cards will be reported to county fa at the conclusion of the event.
All queries / disputes will be handled at the registration tent, where administrator’s decision is FINAL.
The tournament committee reserve the right to alter or amend the rules at any point prior to the commencing of the event.
